About Coco:Chenille:

Welcome to CoCo:Chenille, where we take the best of the past to re-create nostalgic products for today.

Working with recycled materials is always a challenge, and at CoCo:Chenille it is our joy. Many of these fabrics can't be duplicated today and are unmatched in their softness and variety.

We know you'll love the look, the feel and the uniqueness of each of our quality products.

I started this business in my dining room when I moved to this beautiful area of West-Central New Jersey in 1991. I wanted to work at home so I could be available for my children. I began by producing two styles of jackets, then later, added pants, dresses, vests, shorts and tops. By 1993 my home could no longer contain the growing business, and CoCo:Chenille moved into its own quarters.

At this point I added the Home Accessories section of products. Shortly thereafter CoCo was able to move into a lovely old storefront here in High Bridge, New Jersey. For many years customers came from all over the country to fill their senses with chenille.

In 1996 Country Living Magazine featured our Chenille Bears, just before the Christmas holiday. We were off and running. As you can see from some of our Press Highlights, the media has been very kind to us, most especially Country Living and its related publications.

Due to a tragic fire, the retail store closed in 2002. All the work is once again done from my home. Frankly, I enjoy not being tied to a shopkeeper's hours anymore. Everything I have is available here, on the website. I do not produce a catalog because I deal in one-of-a-kind items, and the catalog would have to change each day.

I hope you will find your cyber journey to CoCo:Chenille delightful. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Best Wishes,

Christina Lynn Whited
