About Natural Selections:

Natural Selections, Inc. has offered organic fiber clothing and bedding and other earth friendly products to a growing number of happy customers since its inception in 1995.

In the spring of that 1995, I first became involved with the organic fiber market when helping organize an eco-fashion show/fund raiser for a local college environmental group. From a humble booth of some thirty organic cotton pieces Natural Selections was born, and after several months of further research and financing the showroom was opened in downtown Fairfield, Iowa.

Within a year of the grand opening Natural Selections expanded, doubling the floor space, and receiving an award for Business Improvement. In the past twelve years Natural Selections has grown its mail order and internet presence as well - Organic Selections. Besides offering one of the largest, most complete selections of organic fiber goods, we have created a line of organic beds and bedding, locally produced exclusively for our worldwide customers. Natural Selections also offers several lines of organic bodycare products and makeup, sustainable housewares, eco-furniture, natural toys, and earth friendly gifts.

As a parent of two young children, I love to help people to raise organic kids, from explaining the easiest way to use organic cloth diapers to choosing an affordable, long lasting organic bed for one's children. I have helped countless parents find precisely what they need for their babies and kids, and love to find just the right fit for each child.

In 2004 Natural Selections expanded the store space again to open an organic bed and bedding showroom, and we were presented with another Business Improvement award. Although we're a small family business, Natural Selections continues to expand to find the best organic products and offer the largest selection anywhere.
