Each of these bedspreads is handmade, with the weaving of the silk bedspreads being done by hand as well. Each bedspread is accompanied by 16" x 16" throw pillow covers with a zipper closure and a polyester or cotton backing.

Sequence work is done by hand; embroidery is done on manually operated embroidery machines; durries are woven on a manually operated loom; dyes are prepared from vegetable colors and hand-mixed; ceramic products are hand carved . . . so consistency and uniformity can be a limitation. But that's where the beauty of the product lies.

Each piece you purchase is designed after a careful study of the contemporary trends and executed by hand, or at times by hand operated machines. The techniques used for making each of these products are handed down through generations of families, without any written texts or codes.

Our product line gives you the opportunity to buy exclusive Indian products, most of which are not even available in the Indian retail market itself. The huge costs involved in sourcing these products directly from India does not make it commercially viable for wholesale buyers to buy small quantities and you may not find them in the local market as well.

Variations are part and parcel of any handcrafted product. Density of weaving and colors might vary slightly; embroidery and sequence work designs might vary slightly, yet none of these make the products any less exquisite.
